Jeremiah, Lamentations is unavailable, but you can change that!

In the last days of Judah, God sent Jeremiah to announce the coming judgment, call people to repentance, and comfort the believers who lived in a nation that had forsaken the Lord. His testimony contains many glorious prophecies of the coming Messiah. The book of Lamentations encourages believers to cling to the Lord even during disasters.

Pharaoh Hophra, continued to try, though unsuccessfully, to regain control of both Judah and Syria. Their attempts led the kings of Judah, several times, to plot against Nebuchadnezzar. The final result was the total destruction of Jerusalem in 587/586 B.C. Throughout this period Judah, as always, was caught in the middle.
